The Ultimate Bundles Smorgasbord

Although some businesses have opened up in Moroleon last week, the status of the state of Guanajuato is still red. It appears that those of us in Mexico may be self-quarantining for some time yet. I’ve been using these home hours to work on several online courses that I enrolled in and been doing quite a bit of reading and gardening.

I’m still working through the eCourses and eBooks that I got from the Garden and Sustainable Living Bundle from just a few weeks ago, but I wanted to let you know that Ultimate Bundles has several bundles up for grabs this week. These three bundles, the Work at Home Bundle, the Self-Care Mini-Bundle, and the Master Your Money Mini Bundle will be available at the listed price, with bonuses offers, from June 1 – 5, 2020.

I’ve been working from home for the past two years and I NEVER want to go back to the office, that’s for sure!  Some of you may have had your first work from home experience during the recent lockdowns around the world. Others may be considering how to restructure your life so that you can spend more time with your family. Wherever you are in your quest for more flexibility in your working habits, the Work at Home Bundle has something for you!

This bundle has 11 eCourses, 9 eBooks, 4 printables and workbooks, and 4 templates with a total value of $1603.90. This week you can get all these plus the bonuses for $37.

Then there’s the Self Care Mini Bundle. This little gem has 8 eCourses and Membership Sites, 5 eBooks, 9 printables, and workbooks valued at $564.80 plus several bonus products! This mini-bundle is only $19.99 this week. I’ve signed for nearly all the eCourses and can’t wait to get started!

Money is a concern that has me worried this year. If you’re in the same boat, then take a look at the Master Your Money Mini Bundle. It includes 21 products worth $514.95 (plus bonuses) for the bargain price of $19.99.

Although the Herb and Essential Oils Bundle is no longer available from Ultimate Bundles, there are a few bundles that you can still get, albeit at a slightly higher price and without the bonus offers.

The Gardening & Sustainable Living Bundle is now $24.99. If you remember it has 6 courses, 21 eBooks, 5 Planners, and Printables and is valued at $577.71. It’s a handy set of resources to help you take control of your food source!

A Woman’s Survival Guide to Disasters in Rural Mexico

I don’t know about you, but the constant death count being broadcasted by every single social media outlet has been stressing me out. Seeing exhausted doctors and nurses, watching politicians squabble, and still not being sure whether we are or are not under quarantine where I live makes me feel helpless.

Because of this, during this unforgettable month of March, I stepped up my efforts on my “disaster” book, the latest in the Women’s Survival Guide series. It reduced my endless scrolling on Facebook and kept me focused on what I could do to prepare, rather than all the things I couldn’t. With all that attention, I was able to finish the book several months ahead of schedule.

Today I’m pleased to announce that A Woman’s Survival Guide to Disasters in Rural Mexico: A Framework for Empowered Living Through Crisis is available on Amazon.

Since my main goal is to help other women create fulfilling lives in Mexico, the eBook version of A Woman’s Survival Guide to Disasters in Rural Mexico: A Framework for Empowered Living Through Crisis will be free for the next few days, so that everyone who wishes to, can get a copy.

As we continue our daily activities even in the face of uncertainty, my hope is that going forward, we won’t feel as helpless about our situation when we have a plan of action to work with.

2020 Improvement

Here we are in 2020 and I’ve decided that this year I’d choose the word IMPROVEMENT for my one-word focus. The aspects in my life that I’d like to improve on are:

  • Work: career and finance
  • Health: physical and mental health
  • Learning: personal development
  • Social: relationships with others
  • Home Environment: living conditions

Work

I hope to create a few more books and courses this year. While books don’t generate a lot of income for me, it does bring me intrinsic satisfaction.

  • Specific goal #1: Complete three new books by December 2020.
  • Specific goal #2: Create one new course.

As always, I will keep my eyes open for new opportunities for improving my cash flow. These schemes and jobs don’t always pan out but if I have learned something in the process, well then it wasn’t a total waste of my time and energy.

  • Specific goal #1: Find two new sources of short term income.
  • Specific goal #2: Find one long-term income source.

Health

I need to step up my game in the health department. I’m not getting any younger and I’d like to remain active for as long as possible. This year I will concentrate on physical rather than mental health since that’s what needs the most work.

  • Specific goal #1: Lose 20 pounds by December 2020.
  • Specific goal #2: Engage in 30 minutes of physical activity daily.

Learning

My BFF in Tennessee and I challenge each other to keep learning even at our advanced age. To that end, we’ve taken several classes online together, providing each other motivation to finish and holding each other accountable for applying what we’ve learned in our lives. Currently, we are both interested in learning more about becoming life coaches and are enrolled in a Cognitive Behavioral Theory course as the first step.

  • Specific goal #1: Finish the CBT course and obtain CBT certification
  • Specific goal #2: Complete a second life coaching certification course.

Social

Living where I do it’s easy to become socially isolated. Many of my relationships these days are online and that just isn’t as satisfying as it could be. This year I’d like to travel and spend more time with loved ones in person.

  • Specific goal #1: Make one trip to the U.S.
  • Specific goal #2: Make one trip in Mexico.

Home Environment

Our house is still under construction. I’ve found that if I don’t make specific goals to complete sections of the house, it just doesn’t get done.

  • Specific goal #1: Finish the back porch.
  • Specific goal #2: Finish the front of the house.

Since my 2020 word is improvement, even if I don’t meet all my goals, as long as I have IMPROVED, then I’ll have achieved my objective. What are you planning this year?
